Therapeutic Touch Quilts

This therapeutic, extremely tactile patchwork quilt features 8 different fabrics that provide a variety of kinesthetic experiences for the Alzheimer's patient. Whether it's the softly contoured corduroy or a delightful faux fur, this quilt will provide the kind of tactile stimulation that will calm and soothe your loved one. Therapeutic Fidget Quilt

For the Alzheimer's patient who has a greater need for tactile involvement, we offer our version of the fidget quilt. This quilt is a handy 20" x 20" and is made from colorful flannel to entertain the eyes with a terrycloth backing for extra tactile stimulation.  Attached to the quilt are 8 buttons of various sizes to captivate the fingers and the eyes, a zipper along and two strips of cloth which can be tied or manipulated in a number of ways.  There's also a couple of yarn puff balls added to further engage the user.  Fidget quilts can be a God-send to a care giver while bringing significant relief to the patient through it's calming and soothing effect.
